Regular Season Round 27: Atlanta H. - LA Lakers 101-122

Very significant was Lakers' (#1, 11-2) victory against 4th placed Hawks (4-9) 122-101. Lakers players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 14 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for LeBron James (203-84) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 12 assists. Forward Kyle Kuzma (206-95, college: Utah) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Trae Young (188-98, college: Oklahoma) came up with 31 points and 7 assists and forward Jabari Parker (203-95, college: Duke) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Hawks in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lakers have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-2 record. Hawks lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
