Regular Season Round 8: Rotterdam - Den Bosch 67-57

The most important game in the last round took place in Rotterdam between third ranked Den Bosch (6-3) and fifth ranked Rotterdam (6-2) on Sunday night. Den Bosch was defeated by Rotterdam on the road 57-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Den Bosch. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Rotterdam. Den Bosch managed to win third quarter 17-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Rotterdam won last quarter 20-12. American guard Quentin Snider (188-95, college: Louisville) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import Keyshawn Woods (192-96, college: Ohio St.) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. International center Thomas van-der-Mars (208-90, college: Portland, agency: Duran International) replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Elijah Wilson (193-94, college: Coastal, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 14 points in the effort for Den Bosch. Den Bosch's coach Jean-Marc Jaumin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rotterdam moved-up to second place, which they share with Groningen. Den Bosch at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Rotterdam is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Amsterdam (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Den Bosch will have a break next round.
