Regular Season Round 27: Boston C. - Sacramento K. 99-100

Date: November 17, 2019
The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of top-ranked Celtics (10-2) in Boston on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by fourth ranked Kings (5-7) 100-99. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Celtics. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kings made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for Bahamas guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma) who led his team to a victory scoring 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Serbian Nemanja Bjelica (209-88) helped adding 12 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Jaylen Brown (201-96, college: California) with 18 points and 8 rebounds and German Daniel Theis (204-92) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Kings maintains fourth place with 5-7 record, which they share with Brooklyn N. and OKC Thunder. Celtics at the other side still keep top position with two games lost. Kings will have a break next day, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Celtics will play at home against Suns and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
