Strangely Tokyo HT outrebounded Saitama Broncos 40-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Bahamas Mark StFort (200-88, college: Warner) who scored that evening 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks and Thailand power forward Jalen Robinson (206-93, college: Dalton St.) supported him with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Even 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by point guard Hirotaka Kondo (187-82) did not help to save the game for Tokyo HT. American forward Jahmar Thorpe (198-84, college: Houston) added 16 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Four Tokyo HT players scored in double figures. Saitama Broncos have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Tokyo HT lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. Saitama Broncos will play against higher ranked Okayama (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tokyo HT will play against Saga B. (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
