Regular Season Round 9: Treviso - Brescia 72-68

We should mention about the upset which took place in Treviso, where 4th placed Brescia (5-4) lost to fourteenth ranked Treviso (4-5) in a road game 68-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Brescia. Tongan-New Zealand forward Isaac Fotu (203-93, college: Hawaii) nailed 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Slovenian point guard Aleksej Nikolic (191-95) accounted for 16 points. American forward Kenneth Horton (201-89, college: CCSU) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Tommaso Laquintana (188-95) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for Brescia in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Treviso moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Venezia. Brescia at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Treviso's next round opponent will be higher ranked Virtus Roma (#5) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Brescia will play against Pesaro and hope to win that game.
