Regular Season Round 9: Palma 2 - Roser 76-61

Everything could happen in S'Arenal at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Palma II and 11th ranked Roser had identical 2-6 record. This time Palma II used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Roser 76-61 on Sunday night. It was a good game for Uruguayan-Italian forward Matias Guerra (201-92) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Sergi Huguet (-2) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Alex Blanco (200-94) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Andorra guard Roger Lliteras (194-96) added 12 points in the effort for Roser. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Palma II maintains tenth place in Group C-B with 3-6 record, which they share with JAC Sants. Roser lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. Palma II will face higher ranked Valls Nutrion (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Roser will play against Mollet and hope to win that game.
