Leading Novipiu Casale (6-2) recorded its second loss in Trapani. Visitors were edged by ninth ranked 2B Control TR (4-4) 62-60. The winners were led by swingman Alessandro Amici (200-91) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and American forward Kenny Goins (201-96, college: Michigan St.) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four 2B Control TR players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds by American forward DeShawn Sims (203-88, college: Michigan) did not help to save the game for Novipiu Casale. Naturalized Senegalese center Gora Camara (214-1) added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Novipiu Casale's coach Mattia Ferrari tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. 2B Control TR maintains ninth position in A2 with 4-4 record. Novipiu Casale at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. 2B Control TR will play against higher ranked Derthona TRT (#8) in Tortona in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Novipiu Casale will play on the road against Orlandina CdO (#13) in Capo d'Orlando and hopes to get back on the winning track.
