There was an upset when one of their biggest challengers Moron (5-5) lost to twelfth ranked Cocinas.com (4-6) in Logrono 61-74 on Sunday. Cocinas.com looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for guard Daniel Manchon (193-98, agency: Promo Sport ID) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Guard Mario Alvarez (190-97) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Cocinas.com's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Adam Dieball (206, college: CBU) replied with 12 points and 9 rebounds and forward Sergio Cecilia (198-0) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Moron. Cocinas.com moved-up to seventh place in Silver. Loser Moron dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Cocinas.com will face Marbella (#11) on the road in the next round.
