We should mention about the upset which took place in Shenzhen, where higher ranked Sharks (3-3) lost to fifteenth ranked Leopards (2-4) in a road game 122-130 on Sunday. Sharks were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American point guard Dwight Buycks (191-89, college: Marquette) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 6 rebounds, 15 assists and 5 steals. The other American import Shabazz Muhammad (198-92, college: UCLA) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard James Nunnally (201-90, college: UCSB) added 32 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Five Leopards and four Sharks players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Leopards moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Nanjing TX MK. Loser Sharks keep the ninth position with three games lost. Leopards will face Long-Lions (#18) in Guangzhou in the next round.
