Regular Season Round 9: Temuco - Quilicura 95-87

Bottom-ranked Quilicura is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to fifth ranked Temuco (4-3) 95-87. Temuco outrebounded Quilicura 36-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Quilicura helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was A Sainrtilus who had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Kenny Wormley (193-96, college: Hofstra) chipped in 30 points and 5 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was American-Jamaican power forward Phil Henry (203-91, college: E.New Mexico) who recorded 31 points and 6 rebounds and forward Raimundo Cannobbio (-93) added 21 points (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!) respectively. Temuco have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with CDU Concepcion and CD Valdivia. Quilicura at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
