Regular Season Round 28: Indiana P - Brooklyn N. 115-86

Date: November 18, 2019
No shocking result in a game in Indianapolis where second ranked Pacers (8-6) smashed one of their biggest challengers Nets (5-8) 115-86 on Monday. Pacers dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Nets' 38. They outrebounded Nets 63-40 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Pacers looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Pacers made 8 blocks. Guard Aaron Holiday (185-96, college: UCLA) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists for the winners. Lithuanian-American power forward Domantas Sabonis (209-96, college: Gonzaga) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds. Five Pacers players scored in double figures. Guard Spencer Dinwiddie (198-93, college: Colorado) produced 28 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Jarrett Allen (211-98, college: Texas) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pacers maintains second position with 8-6 record having just two points less than leader Milwaukee B., which they share with LA Clippers and Minnesota T. Loser Nets dropped to the third place with eight games lost.
