We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when one of their biggest challengers Pistons (4-10) were outscored by fifth ranked Bulls (5-10) in Detroit 109-89 on Wednesday. Bulls shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bulls made 7 blocks. It was a good game for guard Shaquille Harrison (193-93, college: Tulsa) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Finnish Lauri Markkanen (216-97, college: Arizona) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Blake Griffin (208-89, college: Oklahoma) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and center Andre Drummond (208-93, college: Connecticut) added 6 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Pistons. Five Bulls and four Pistons players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bulls moved-up to third place, which they share with Portland TB and San Antonio S. Pistons lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with ten games lost.
