Regular Season Round 11: Miasto Szkla - Sokol Lancut 83-76

The most important game in the last round took place in Krosno between third ranked Sokol Lancut (6-4) and sixth ranked Miasto Szkla (5-4) on Wednesday night. Sokol Lancut was defeated by Miasto Szkla in a tough game on the road 76-83. Miasto Szkla dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Sokol Lancut's 30. They outrebounded Sokol Lancut 40-27 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds. Dariusz Oczkowicz (184-81) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Mariusz Konopatzki (192-96, agency: Alti Sport) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Bartosz Ciechocinski (203-91) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sokol Lancut. Miasto Szkla maintains sixth position with 5-4 record. Sokol Lancut at the other side dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. Miasto Szkla are looking forward to face GKS Tychy (#7) on the road in the next round. Sokol Lancut will play against AZS PO and is hoping to win this game.
