An interesting game took place in Nanjing where higher ranked Eagles (5-3) were upset on the court of eleventh ranked Jiangsu Dragons (4-4) 130-114. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Eagles. Jiangsu Dragons made 25-of-28 charity shots (89.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Eagles turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Eagles' players. 26 personal fouls committed by Eagles helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds. American point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-87, college: N.Mexico St.) contributed with 31 points and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Dakari Johnson (213-95, college: Kentucky) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 16 rebounds and Bulgarian-American point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Wasserman) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Eagles. Four Jiangsu Dragons and five Eagles players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Jiangsu Dragons moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Shanghai S. Eagles at the other side keep the sixth position with three games lost. Jiangsu Dragons' next round opponent will be Golden Stars (#14) in Jinan.
