Regular Season Round 32: San Antonio S. - Philadelphia 76 104-115

Date: November 22, 2019
Rather expected game in San Antonio where 5th ranked Spurs (5-11) were defeated by third ranked 76ers (10-5) 115-104 on Friday. 76ers outrebounded Spurs 51-32 including 38 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Cameroonian center Joel Embiid (213-94, college: Kansas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and Tobias Harris (206-92, college: Tennessee) who added 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five 76ers players scored in double figures. Swingman DeMar DeRozan (201-89, college: USC) responded with 29 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Rudy Gay (203-86, college: Connecticut) scored 22 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. 76ers have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Dallas M. and Utah Jazz. Spurs lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with 11 games lost. 76ers will face league's leader Heat in Miami in the next day and it will be for sure the game of the week. Spurs will play at home against Knicks and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
