Another upset was a game between Lille Metropole (4-3) and ALM Evreux (3-4), which took place in Evreux. 4th placed Lille Metropole lost to fourteenth ranked ALM Evreux in a road game 62-73 on Friday. It was a very good performance for Spanish-Venezuelan swingman Jhornan Zamora (196-89) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Florent Tortosa (198-89) contributed with 16 points for the winners. American guard Mike Holton-Jr (190-90, college: St.Michael's) answered with 21 points and Canadian-Saint Lucian guard Adika Peter-McNeilly (190-93, college: Ryerson) added 11 points and 7 assists in the effort for Lille Metropole. Lille Metropole's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. ALM Evreux moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Aix-Maurienne and Gries/Oberhoffen. Loser Lille Metropole dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. ALM Evreux will face higher ranked Nantes (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lille Metropole will play against the league's leader ADA Blois having rather not much hope for a victory.
