Rather expected game in Matsuyama where 6th ranked Yamagata (4-17) was defeated by fourth ranked Orange Vikings (10-11) 75-71 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Puerto Rican center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) who added 3 points and 18 rebounds during the contest. American guard Torian Graham (196-93, college: ASU) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Stephen Hurt (211-93, college: Kansas St.) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Yamagata's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Orange Vikings have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 10-11 record. Yamagata lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
