Regular Season Round 6: Sydney Uni - Perth 82-91

The most interesting game of round 6 in the WNBL was a home defeat of 7th ranked Sydney Uni Flames (2-6) to sixth ranked Perth Lynx (3-5) 91-82. American swingman Alison Schwagmeyer (177-90, college: Quincy) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international Katie-Rae Ebzery (177-90) chipped in 20 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Alex Wilson (174-94) with 16 points and 9 assists and American forward Colleen Planeta (188-88, college: PLNU) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Perth Lynx and five Sydney Uni Flames players scored in double figures. Perth Lynx moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bendigo. Sydney Uni Flames at the other side keep the seventh position with six games lost. Perth Lynx is looking forward to face league's leader Southside Flyers in Dandenong in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sydney Uni Flames will play on the road against the league's second-placed Boomers (#2) in Melbourne and are hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
