The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked GET Vosges' (4-7) home loss to eighth ranked Andrezieux (7-5) 54-69 on Friday. The best player for the winners was Algerian guard Nadyr Labouize (187-97) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Christnel Jean-Francois (197-91) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Andrezieux players scored in double figures. GET Vosges' coach Laurent Mathis tested ten players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Andrezieux have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place in Group B, which they share with Avignon/Pontet. Loser GET Vosges dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. Andrezieux will face Kaysersberg (#12) at home in the next round where they are favorite. GET Vosges will play against Orchesien BC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
