Fifth-ranked Hawks (4-12) gave a tough game to second ranked Raptors (11-4) in Toronto on Saturday. Raptors managed to secure only three-point victory 119-116. However their fans expected easier game. Raptors made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game, while Hawks only scored eight points from the stripe. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam (206-94, college: N.Mexico St.) who scored 34 points (!!!). Point guard Fred VanVleet (183-94, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 25 points and 9 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was guard Trae Young (188-98, college: Oklahoma) who recorded a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists and guard DeAndre Hunter (201-97, college: Virginia) added 26 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hawks' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Raptors.
