Regular Season Round 10: Utrera - Dos Hermanas 88-50

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Dos Hermanas (3-5) was outplayed on the road by eighth ranked Utrera (3-4) 88-50 on Saturday. Utrera forced 19 Dos Hermanas turnovers and outrebounded them 42-30 including 19 on the offensive glass. Forward Federico Ristori (194-96) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Andres Tejada (195-98) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Utrera players scored in double figures. At the losing side Alvaro Lopez responded with 13 points (made all of his seven free throws) and German Pablo Gallardo scored 7 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Utrera moved-up to sixth place in Group D-B. Dos Hermanas lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. Utrera will face Matenglish (#9) in San Fernando in the next round.
