Regular Season Round 7: Lahti - Salon V. 67-57

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Lahti and 9th ranked Salon V. had identical 2-4 record. This time Lahti used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Salo 67-57 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Lahti. Salon V. managed to win third quarter 17-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for forward Eemi Luukkonen (200-2) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Arttu Nykanen (185-2) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Lahti players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Patrik Poutiainen (196-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Taneli Lindstrom (184-1) scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lahti (3-4) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Pyrinto. Loser Salon V. keeps the ninth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
