Very expected game when 13th ranked Mantova (1-8) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Carugate (5-3) 68-60 on Saturday. Carugate forced 21 Mantova turnovers. Mantova was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Francesca Diotti (172-97) who scored 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Bosnian power forward Natasa Tomasovic (185-93, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Slovenian center Katja Kotnik (190-90, college: Eckerd) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Elisa Ruffo (186-93) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively.
