Date: November 23, 2019
EBLK top team - Arka Gdynia (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Wisla Krakow (4-5) 88-55. They outrebounded Wisla Krakow 40-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. Arka Gdynia looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for German power forward Sonja Greinacher (190-92, college: Gonzaga, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Australian guard Rebecca Allen (188-92, agency: LBM Management) helped adding 19 points and 5 rebounds. Arka Gdynia's coach Gundars Vetra felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American point guard Chloe Wells (173-92, college: Duke) responded with 10 points and 7 assists and the other American import center Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Arka Gdynia have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Loser Wisla Krakow dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Arka Gdynia will face Sleza Wroclaw (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Wisla Krakow will play against AZS UMCS and hope to win that game.
