Regular Season Round 9: Albino - Bolzano BK 43-65

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Bolzano BK (7-1) smashed on the road 8th ranked Albino (4-5) 65-43 on Saturday. Bolzano BK forced 19 Albino turnovers. The best player for the winners was Croatian center Katarina Trehub (191-97) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Erika Degiovanni chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Four Bolzano BK players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Polish forward Klaudia Grudzien (184-90) who recorded 16 points and 9 rebounds and guard Martina Baiardo (178-95) added 10 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bolzano BK maintains third place in A2 with 7-1 record behind leader Moncalieri. Loser Albino keeps the eighth position with five games lost. Bolzano BK will face Team Crema (#4) at home in the next round. Albino will play against Ponzano (#9) in Veneto and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
