Very predictable result when fifth ranked LoKoKo Bisons (5-3) won against 10th ranked ToPo Juniorit (3-5) in Loimaa 87-80 on Sunday. ToPo Juniorit was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. ToPo Juniorit was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward De'Sean Parsons (201, college: Portland St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Juho-Matti Henttonen (202-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Five LoKoKo Bisons players scored in double figures. Guard Santeri Makkonen (195-1) replied with 19 points and forward Alvar Michelsen (197-0) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for ToPo Juniorit. LoKoKo Bisons moved-up to third place in Division. Loser ToPo Juniorit keeps the tenth position with five games lost. LoKoKo Bisons will face FoKoPo (#11) in Forssa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ToPo Juniorit's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Helsinki to the arena HNMKY.
