Regular Season Round 13: Tromso - Froya Basket 97-105

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Froya Basket (6-7) defeated on the road 4th placed Tromso (6-8) 105-97 on Sunday. Froya Basket made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) stepped up and scored 36 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Serbian guard Nikola Vasojevic (196-86) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 16 assists. At the losing side Bahamas forward Kevin Altidor (196-90, college: Young Harris) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and American forward Cam Gregory (203-95, college: Loyola, MD) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 18 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Froya Basket and four Tromso players scored in double figures. Froya Basket moved-up to fourth place. Tromso lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. Froya Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tromso will play on the road against Centrum (#8) in Oslo and is hoping to win this game.
