Rather expected game when 9th ranked ViVe (1-8) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Tapiolan Honka (4-5) 66-62 on Sunday. ViVe was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 21-13 charge of Tapiolan Honka, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ViVe to just 6 points in second quarter. Americans were the main players on the court. Swingman Chelsea Waters (186, college: Gonzaga) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and point guard Haiden Palmer (173-91, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 14 points and 9 assists. Four Tapiolan Honka players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Abria Trice (185-92, college: ECU, agency: LBM Management) with 28 points and 9 rebounds and forward Jamee Swan (188-94, college: Colorado) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds. Tapiolan Honka moved-up to sixth place, which they share with ToPo. ViVe lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Tapiolan Honka will face higher ranked Catz Lappeenranta (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
