Important game to mention about took place in Aanekoski. Fourth ranked Huima (6-2) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Namika Lr (3-5) 93-92 on Sunday evening. Namika Lr was ahead by 7 points after three quarters before a 30-22 charge of Huima, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Trenton Clayton (206-96, college: Pittsburg St.) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Tiitus Kuukkanen (193-0) who added 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American point guard Aubrey Conerly (182-83, college: Jacksonville) responded with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists and Jussi Moilanen (190-96) scored 21 points. Five Huima and four Namika Lr players scored in double figures. Namika Lr's coach Jukka Reponen rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Huima maintains fourth position in Division with 6-2 record. Newly promoted Namika Lr dropped to the ninth place with five games lost. Huima will play against Westside ET (#10) in Espoo in the next round where they are favorite. Namika Lr will play at home against PuHu Juniorit and hopes to get back on the winning track.
