Regular Season Round 10: Brescia - Pesaro 101-74

Bottom-ranked Pesaro is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to fifth ranked Brescia (6-4) 101-74. Brescia dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pesaro's 34. They outrebounded Pesaro 36-24 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Five Brescia players scored in double figures. Brescia's coach Vincenzo Esposito felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Serbian guard Vasa Pusica (196-95, college: Northeastern) responded with 25 points and 5 assists and American forward Zach Thomas (201-96, college: Bucknell) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Brescia moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Milano and Fortitudo BO. Pesaro at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Brescia will play against higher ranked Sassari (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Pesaro will play against Vanoli Cremona (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
