Not a big story in a game in Pavia where 9th ranked Olginate (4-6) was defeated by seventh ranked Omnia Basket (5-4) 69-59 on Sunday. Omnia Basket made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Point guard Mattia Venucci (188-90) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Alessandro Spatti (203-95, agency: Agency) chipped in 12 points during the contest. At the losing side swingman Alessio Donadoni (197-97, agency: SPORTlab Agency) responded with 16 points and power forward Luca Rattalino (206-97) scored 11 points. Olginate's coach Massimo Meneguzzo let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Omnia Basket moved-up to sixth place in B. Loser Olginate dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. Omnia Basket will face Crema (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olginate will play against Juvi Cremona and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
