The game with biggest result difference took place in Findon. Local Adelaide 36ers (5-6) beat 8th ranked New Zealand Breakers (2-8) 117-100 on Sunday night. Adelaide 36ers dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to New Zealand Breakers' 36. New Zealand Breakers were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Daniel Johnson (212-88, college: Pepperdine) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Eric Griffin (203-90, college: Campbell) chipped in 24 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American-Jamaican guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) who recorded 18 points and American guard RJ Hampton (197-1) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively. Five Adelaide 36ers and four New Zealand Breakers players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Adelaide 36ers moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bullets. New Zealand Breakers lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with eight games lost. Adelaide 36ers will face league's second-placed Perth Wildcats on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. New Zealand Breakers will play against Illawarra Hawks (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
