Everything went according to plan in Zaragoza where eleventh ranked Mann Filter (3-6) beat bottom-ranked Zamarat (1-8) 83-75 on Sunday. Mann Filter made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Mann Filter had a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Aina Ayuso (175-99, college: Oregon) who scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international forward Vega Gimeno (185-91, college: RMU) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Mann Filter players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Brittany McPhee (183-96, college: Stanford) who recorded 22 points and 4 assists and Dutch guard Laura Cornelius (173-96, college: Miami, FL) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
