Regular Season Round 4: Holon - Ashdod 76-69

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Ashdod (2-1) on the court of fifth ranked Holon on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by Holon 76-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ashdod. Holon looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Karisma Penn (188-91, college: Illinois) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and guard Kenisha Bell (175-94, college: Minnesota) who added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Crystal Bradford (183-93, college: Cent Michigan) responded with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and point guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: San Diego St., agency: Ron Sport) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. Holon moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Ashdod. Holon is looking forward to face league's leader Maccabi Ramat Gan in Ramat Hen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ashdod will play against Raanana and is hoping to win this game.
