Regular Season Round 11: Dijon - Roanne 74-77

The most exciting game of round 11 in the Jeep ELITE ProA took place in Dijon. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th placed JDA Dijon (9-3) to fourteenth ranked Chorale de Roanne (3-8) 77-74 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. The best player for the winners was American guard Marcquise Reed (190-95, college: Clemson, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 25 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Steeve Ho-You-Fat (203-88) chipped in 8 points and 6 rebounds. Chorale de Roanne's coach Laurent Pluvy used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. International point guard Axel Julien (184-92) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 assists and American LaMonte Ulmer (198-86, college: URI) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Chorale de Roanne went down to fifteenth position due to points difference, which they share with Le Mans. JDA Dijon at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. Chorale de Roanne is looking forward to face higher ranked JL Bourg (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JDA Dijon will have a break next round.
