Very expected game when 16th ranked Saint-Quentin (2-6) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Saint Chamond (5-3) 99-91 on Tuesday. Saint Chamond made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Saint Chamond especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Paul Carter (204-87, college: UIC, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds and Croatian forward Jure Skific (202-88, agency: 011 Sports) who added 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Ivorian point guard Jean-Francois Kebe (185-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 assists and point guard Yanick Blanc (185-99) scored 21 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Saint Chamond and four Saint-Quentin players scored in double figures. Saint-Quentin's coach Thomas Giorguitti let to play eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Saint Chamond have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 5-3 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Saint-Quentin lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth place with six games lost. Saint Chamond will face higher ranked Denain Voltaire (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
