Swingman DeMar DeRozan (201-89, college: USC) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward LaMarcus Aldridge (211-85, college: Texas) added 22 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Timberwolves maintains third place with 10-8 record having just two points less than leader Milwaukee B. Loser Spurs keep the fourth position with 13 games lost. Timberwolves will have a break next day. Spurs will play at home against the league's second-placed Clippers (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
