There was no surprise in Cleveland where 5th ranked Cavaliers (5-13) were defeated by second ranked Magic (7-10) 116-104 on Wednesday. Magic forced 25 Cavaliers turnovers. Strangely Cavaliers outrebounded Magic 49-34 including 37 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. French Evan Fournier (198-92) fired 30 points for the winners. Forward Jonathan Isaac (209-97, college: FSU) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Collin Sexton (191-99, college: Alabama) produced 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Canadian forward Tristan Thompson (206-91, college: Texas) added 13 points and 15 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Cavaliers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Magic maintains second place with 7-10 record having six points less than leader Milwaukee B., which they share with Sacramento K. Loser Cavaliers keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. Magic will face league's second-placed Raptors in Toronto in the next day and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cavaliers will play at home against the league's leader Bucks and hope to win that game.
