There was no surprise when 8th ranked Feronikeli (2-10) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Peja (6-6) 107-100 on Thursday. Peja outrebounded Feronikeli 49-30 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Peja looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Feronikeli's players. The former international forward Drilon Hajrizi (203-91) fired a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Croatian forward Henrik Sirko (198-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) chipped in 29 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Peja's coach Jeronimo Sarin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International Arti Hajdari (190-93) produced 34 points (!!!) and 6 steals and American swingman Brandon Scott (192-93, college: Bacone) added 23 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Feronikeli players scored in double figures. Peja maintains sixth place with 6-6 record. Feronikeli lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Peja will face Trepca (#7) in Mitrovice in the next round.
