Regular Season Round 11: Beijing Ducks - Bayi R. 105-83
Date: November 28, 2019
Very expected game when 20th ranked Bayi Rockets (1-11) were crushed on the road by fifth ranked Beijing Ducks (8-3) 105-83 on Thursday. Beijing Ducks made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 63.2 percentage. Beijing Ducks looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Bayi Rockets' players. It was a great evening for Taiwanese-American point guard Jeremy Lin (190-88, college: Harvard) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 assists. The former international forward Lin Chang (206-88, college: LBSU) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds. The former international center Hao Fu (206-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and forward Luo Kaiwen (198-95) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Beijing Ducks moved-up to fourth place. Bayi Rockets lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Beijing Ducks will face Long-Lions (#15) in Guangzhou in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
