Regular Season Round 10: Taipans - United 93-86

The most important game in the last round took place in Cairns between third ranked United (7-6) and seventh ranked Cairns Taipans (5-7) on Friday night. United was defeated by Cairns Taipans in a tough game on the road 86-93. Four Cairns Taipans and five United players scored in double figures. Cairns Taipans moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Bullets. United at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Cairns Taipans is looking forward to face league's leader Kings in Sydney in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. United will play at home against Adelaide 36ers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
