Regular Season Round 11: Huesca - Forca Lleida 97-73

Rather expected game when 14th ranked Lleida Basquet (3-7) was rolled over on the road by eleventh ranked Magia Huesca (5-6) 97-73. Magia Huesca shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for Croatian forward David Skara (203-95, college: Clemson) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Olin Carter-III (190, college: San Diego) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Four Magia Huesca players scored in double figures. Marc Marti (204-97) came up with 16 points and point guard Adrian Chapela (192-94) added 12 points respectively for Lleida Basquet in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Magia Huesca moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Granada and Alicante. Lleida Basquet lost fifth consecutive game. Lleida Basquet at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with seven games lost. Magia Huesca's next round opponent will be Almansa (#15) on the road which should be theoretically another easy game. Lleida Basquet will play against Marin and hope to win that game.
