Regular Season Round 38: Miami Heat - Golden St.W. 122-105

Very expected game in Miami where 5th ranked Warriors (5-15) were defeated by first ranked Heat (13-5) 122-105 on Friday. Heat dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Warriors' 40. They outrebounded Warriors 48-30 including a 39-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Heat shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Slovenian point guard Goran Dragic (190-86) who scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Jimmy Butler (201-89, college: Marquette) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Heat's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Jordan Poole (193-99, college: Michigan) produced 20 points and forward Marquese Chriss (206-97, college: Washington) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) respectively for the guests. Five Heat and four Warriors players scored in double figures. Heat maintains first position with 13-5 record, which they share with Boston C. Loser Warriors keep the fifth place with 15 games lost.
