Regular Season Round 12: Borisfen - Rubon 107-89

There was a change at the Premier League leadership position after last games. Round 12 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Rubon (7-2). They were defeated by second ranked COR-Borisfen (8-1) 107-89 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rubon. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best for the losing side was Egro Potupchik (190-94) with 22 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Maksim Shustov (188-86) scored 18 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. COR-Borisfen have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Grodno-93. Rubon at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Tsmoki-Minsk R.. They were replaced at the leadership position by Grodno-93.
