Regular Season Round 27: Huracanes - Fuerza Regia 93-91

The most exciting game of round 27 in the LNBP took place in Tampico. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-best Fuerza Regia (19-9) to fourth ranked Huracanes (15-10) 93-91 on Saturday evening. Huracanes made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) who scored 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. James Alvarez chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian-American power forward OD Anosike (203-91, college: Siena) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Jerime Anderson (187-89, college: UCLA, agency: Best of You Sports) added 14 points and 10 assists respectively. Five Huracanes and four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Huracanes maintains fourth place with 15-10 record, which they share with Panteras. Fuerza Regia at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost. Huracanes is again looking forward to face league's second-placed Fuerza Regia in Monterrey in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fuerza Regia will have a break next round.
