Very predictable result when first ranked Igualada (10-1) beat at home 8th ranked Alfinden (4-7) 82-70 on Saturday. Igualada dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Alfinden's 32. The best player for the winners was Jordi Torres (188-83) who scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Sergi Carrion (180-97) chipped in 15 points. Igualada's coach Jordi Marti used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Jose Malo (203-96) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Roberto Perez (192-93) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Four Alfinden players scored in double figures.
