Regular Season Round 11: Roanne - Pau-Lacq-Orthez 97-100

A very close game took place in Roanne between Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Chorale de Roanne. Eleventh ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (4-8) got a very close victory on the road over 14th ranked Chorale de Roanne (3-8). Pau-Lacq-Orthez managed to escape with a 3-point win 100-97 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Chorale de Roanne. Pau-Lacq-Orthez made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for point guard Justin Dentmon (183-85, college: Washington, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Guard Tyrus McGee (188-91, college: Iowa St., agency: Alti Sport) helped adding 19 points. Guard Marcquise Reed (190-95, college: Clemson, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and guard Ian Miller (190-91, college: FSU) scored 22 points. Four Pau-Lacq-Orthez and five Chorale de Roanne players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Pau-Lacq-Orthez went down to twelfth position due to points difference, which they share with Limoges and Orleans. Newly promoted Chorale de Roanne dropped to the fifteenth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Le Mans. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Chorale de Roanne will play against JL Bourg (#5) and hope to secure a win.
