Regular Season Round 12: Prat - Benicarlo 70-67

Twelfth-ranked Benicarlo (2-10) made lots of trouble for second ranked CB Prat (9-3) on Saturday. CB Prat managed to secure only three-point victory 70-67. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was forward Marc Blanch (195-82) who scored 19 points. Croatian forward Leo Cizmic (205-98) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. CB Prat's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Sudanese forward Thik Bol (203-96, college: SIU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian center Nemanja Djordjevic (203-95) added 13 points and 13 rebounds respectively. CB Prat maintains second position in Silver with 9-3 record behind leader Juaristi ISB. Newly promoted Benicarlo keeps the twelfth place with ten games lost. CB Prat are looking forward to face Gran Canaria II (#9) in Las Palmas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Benicarlo will play at home against Menorca and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
