Leader Mineros delivered the twentieth victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Laguneros (1-25) 106-82 in Torreon. Mineros shot 63.5 percent from the field. It was a quality performance for Panamanian center Jaime Lloreda (204-80, college: LSU) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Reyshawn Terry (203-84, college: UNC) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Five Mineros players scored in double figures. American forward John Taylor (185-89, college: Fresno Pacific, agency: Promotex) came up with 34 points (!!!) and 8 assists and the other American import forward Trent Steen (203, college: UAPB, agency: One Motive Sports) added 21 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Laguneros in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mineros maintains first place with 20-7 record.
