It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Libertadores. They outrebounded Libertadores 50-35 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Barry Chinedu (193-94) who saved his team from a defeat with 20 points and 9 rebounds. American center BJ West (211-89, college: Jackson St.) contributed with 8 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. Santos' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American-Dominican forward Justin Satchell (203, college: St.Leo) answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and international forward Irwin Avalos (201-91, college: DBU) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Libertadores. Five Libertadores players scored in double figures. Santos maintains eighth place with 8-18 record. Libertadores at the other side keep the seventh position with 16 games lost.
